But in the interest of clarity, you can't correctly compare such deaths in Mexico with the number in the US, because you are using a different base: there are over 300 million people living in the US, but only a tiny fraction of that number travel to Mexico. So it gives us no "perspective" to compare the two directly. Of course the numbers will be much higher in the US. Aside from that, your point is still well taken. Apparently though, the "news" about the dangers of Mexico is not getting out to Canadians, because we notice the majority of visitors in Guererro is from Canada.
